SRC Newry East Campus Upgrade
Ashdown Controls are pleased to share the completion of a significant upgrade at SRC Newry East Campus, a highly respected educational institution in Northern Ireland. The project upgrade was designed to improve their building efficiency and control systems. This collaboration highlights our ongoing commitment to enhancing building efficiency and control systems.
Project Overview:
- Scope of Work: The upgrade involved ten outstations, with nine of these undergoing an enhancement of controls from IQ2/3 controllers to the latest IQ4E controllers. Additionally, a new MCC Boiler House Panel was custom-built in-house and expertly commissioned by our dedicated service team.
- System Enhancements: To ensure a seamless integration of the upgraded controls, we also updated the graphics within the boilerhouse, providing an intuitive and modern interface for monitoring and management.
- Technical Specifications: The project encompassed a total of 1,123 BEMS (Building Energy Management System) points distributed across the outstations. This upgrade also included the implementation of 137 history pages and 18 time schedules, optimising the efficiency and functionality of the system.
Collaboration and Partnership:
We collaborated closely with LM Services, who provided electrical installation and facilities management support. This partnership was instrumental in delivering a successful upgrade, ensuring that all components were expertly installed and integrated.
This project underscores our dedication to advancing control technologies and providing tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. We thank everyone involved for their hard work and commitment.
